Hand made,

well made,

slow made.

An annual community art festival in Charlottesville, Virginia.

2018 date to be announced

What is artcho?

ARTCHO is an annual festival bringing the people of Charlottesville together to enjoy art, music, and food in a relaxed, family-friendly environment. (Don't worry — there will be craft beer!)

Our goal is to exhibit high quality artwork at prices that regular folks can afford. Local restaurants and talented musicians will keep you well-fed and entertained while you browse a broad selection of original art by Virginia’s best creatives. All art will be for sale. Additionally, each artist donates a work of their choice for our silent auction to support a partner charity, which is held throughout the day. You do not have to be present to win.

The festival is free and open to the public.

Donations and proceeds from the event go to a local non-profit and strengthen community businesses. Last year's partner charity was International Neighbors. This year's partner recipient is being announced soon.

If you would like to make a donation please click on the button below.

Thirty of central Virginia's most creative artists will be showing their work at ARTCHO. Apply to be one of them.

Local bands playing a wide variety of music will be performing throughout the afternoon.

Charlottesville's best local restaurants and food trucks - all in one place. And yes, there will be beer too.

In 2017 we partnered with International Neighbors, an organization helping refugees and immigrants in our community.

ARTCHO will take place at a scenic overlook on Pantops Mountain.

Free parking and restrooms will be available.
